We believe in the importance of good design.
Workroom Design Studio provides full-service interior design consulting to both residential and commercial clients. We work on both renovations and new construction, collaborating with architects, builders, artists, and craftspeople to realize our clients’ vision for their home or work environment. From the first stages of exploration to the final details of installation, we work hand-in-hand with our clients. We specialize in finding the joyful, unique, and beautiful. Through color and pattern, comfort and function, we energize the space you live and work in.
Workroom Design Studio was founded in 2018, when after several years of successful collaboration on textile, furniture, and color projects, Sally Staub and Hannah Ray merged their businesses, Sally Staub Design and Tack Upholstery Studio. We bring individual skill sets and professional experiences to our collaboration, but share a collective vision that makes Workroom unique. We are based in Western Massachusetts, and have extensive experience working with clients all over the Northeast, including Boston and New York.
We make it happen.
Workroom is located next to Smith College in a beautifully renovated space in Northampton, MA. Our studio includes client meeting areas and an extensive sample library.
Our ability to fit all your custom needs sets us apart. We have relationships with some of the best craftspeople in our area; if we can’t build it, we can find someone who can. We pride ourselves on our dedication to quality and detailed craftsmanship. We provide you with access to a library of textiles and wallpaper, and a catalog of furniture and building resources.
